Library Closing for Durham Fair
The Library will be closed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Sept. 26 – 28 for the Durham Fair. We will re-open on Monday, Sept. 30 at 9:00 a.m. The book drops will also be closed.
Closed Sat. & Mon. for Labor Day
The library will be closed Saturday August 31st and Monday September 2nd for Labor Day Weekend. We will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd.

The Library will be closed on Thursday July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen on Friday, July 5, at 10:00 AM.

The Library will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. We will re-open on Thursday, June 20th at 9:00 am.
Library Closed for Memorial Day
The Library will be closed on Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day. We will re-open on Tuesday, May 28th at 9:00 am.
Library Closed Fri. March 29; Open Sat. March 30
The Durham Public Library will be closed on Good Friday, March 29. We will be open Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Library closed Presidents Day
The library will be closed Monday, Feb. 19th in recognition of Presidents Day. We will re-open Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.
Library closed Martin Luther King Jr. Day
The library will be closed Monday, Jan. 15 in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Library closed for Christmas Holiday
The Library will be closed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, December 23-25. We will re-open on Tuesday, December 25th at 9:00 a.m. The book drops will also be closed during this time. No late fees will be charged.
