Children’s Room Update

The Children’s Room will be closed for a refresh starting December 1, with a planned reopening of January 20, 2026.

During this time, a small browsable children’s collection will be available on the lower level. Limited programming, for patrons of all ages, will be offered during this time as the shelving and remaining collection will be stored in our adult programming room.

Looking for a specific book or item? Please feel free to place holds so that the title can be delivered from another library or visit a nearby library. The front desk can help you with any requests either in person or over the phone at 860-349-9544.

Need an activity? Check out our museum passes or register for a take-home kit while the space is being updated.

Thank you for your patience while we refresh our Children’s Room!
