Move & Groove Storytime

Babies and toddlers are on the move!

Join Miss Kristen for a special storytime combining stories, music and creative movement!

For tots ages 3-5, siblings are welcome.

Registration is not required, but is encouraged.

All Ages Storytime + Playgroup

Tuesdays 9:30 AM

Meets: Children of all ages with an adult are welcome to join Miss Alex on Tuesdays at 9:30 AM starting January 1/16  to April 4/2 for a storytime and playgroup to follow. NO meeting 3/19.

Registration is encouraged but NOT required.


Nutmeg Nights: A Book Club for Grades 3-6

Mondays: 1/08, 2/05, 3/04, 4/01 at 6:15pm

Join Miss Alex one Monday a month at 6:15 pm for Nutmeg Nights! In this club, we will read a selection of the 2024 Intermediate Nutmeg book Nominees. Club members will then have a group discussion and do a fun activity, craft, or game relating to the book we’ve just read.

Stop by the front desk to get a copy of the title we’ll be reading.

LEGO Free Play

Mondays from 4-5pm

2/12, 2/26,3/4 , 3/11, 3/18, 3/25

Drop-in between 4 pm and 5 pm every Monday for LEGO free play. Ages 3 and up ONLY with an adult. No registration is required.


Baby Storytime & Playgroup 

Mondays 9:30am

February-April

Join Miss Kristen for a special storytime, Mondays at 9:30, for children under 2 and their caregiver. Registration is encouraged, but not required. Siblings welcome.

Crafternoon! 

Thursdays 4-4:45 pm

2/8, 2/22, 3/7, 3/21.

Kids in grades K-2 can join Miss Alex twice a month for a story and an art project.

Registration required, limit 20. You are registering for all 4 events. Registration begins January 25th at 4 pm.


Crazy 8’s Math Club

Grades 3-5 6 pm

2/8, 2/22, 2/29, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21,3/28,

NO CLASS 2/15.

Join Miss Alex for some fun, high-energy math activities for kids of all abilities. Activities include Firefighter Training and Ninjas on the Run. This Math Club is open to all kids in grades 3 through 5. Registration is required for this multi-week program. Registration will open on 1/25 at 6pm.


Valentine Scavenger Hunt- February

2/1- 2/29 Open to close

Find all the Valentine’s pictures in the Kids’ Area. Turn in your completed sheet at the front desk for a small surprise. Play as many times as you’d like all month long. All ages with an adult.


Toddler Science Oil & Water

Friday 2/23 at 10:30 AM

Join Miss Alex to experiment with oil and water. Ages 2 and up only, please. Registrations open at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 9, 2024.


Dog Man Scavenger Hunt- March

Find all the Dog Man related pictures in the Kids’ Area. Turn in your completed sheet at the front desk for a small surprise. Play as many times as you’d like all month long. All ages with an adult.



Mario Movie 

Saturday, April 13th at 2 pm

During April vacation we’re bringing the magic of the Mushroom Kingdom to the big screen with a special showing of the 2023 Super Mario movie. This event is perfect for kids of all ages and their families. We’ll have some tasty popcorn available and some Mario-themed crafts. Feel free to come dressed as your favorite Mario character! Whether you’re a Mario, Luigi, or Princess Peach, we’d love to see your creativity. Registration is encouraged NOT required.


Eclipse Party

Join us at the library for a celestial celebration the whole family will enjoy! 🌞🌑

Solar Eclipse Viewing: Safely observe the celestial spectacle through specially provided viewing glasses.

Educational Activities: Engage in hands-on, interactive activities that explore the science behind solar eclipses, perfect for curious minds of all ages.

Crafts: Let your artistic side shine as we offer eclipse-themed arts and crafts, ensuring everyone can express their excitement in a fun and imaginative way.

Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Enjoy the event in a relaxed and welcoming environment, fostering a sense of community as we marvel at the wonders of the universe together.
