Would you like to get more involved with your community? Do you have a question about our community, but don’t know who to ask?
Join us for Speed Repping! What is speed repping? It’s a bit like speed dating, but without the dating. Participants will sign up for 10-minute slots to spend one-on-one time with our local officials where you have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our local government or bring up any concerns. You decide who you want to talk to and we’ll make it happen!
Meet with one or more of Durham’s local officials: First Selectman Laura Francis, Town Clerk Kim Garvis, RSD13 School Board Chair Robert Moore, and State Trooper Larry Morello. 7-8:30 pm. Sign up for individual sessions by calling Kim McNally at 860-349-9544 ext. 4.
Prefer volunteering to politics? Join us for a Community Open House also happening 7-8:30 pm. Learn more about what’s happening in Durham and how to get involved in our community! Meet representatives from: Girls Scouts, Lions Club, Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services, MARC Community Services, US Census Bureau, CVEF, Town of Durham Recreation and Sustainable Durham’s Complete Streets. No registration required for this part of the event. Just drop in!
